Hangers Galore.
Like I said, I’m a major sucker for a hanging plant. From a decorative standpoint, it’s such a striking yet simple statement and I just can’t get enough. I’m running out of ceiling space. Hanging plants are crucial for that Jungle energy. You’ll very rarely see me hang a plant in a basic nursery pot with a basic nursery hanger. Why miss out on an opportunity to use one of my favorite plant hangers? From Macrame to sturdy cotton to decorative wall pieces that will cradle your planters, here are some of my faves.
Word to the wise: Some of my hangers are available for purchase through the links I’ve provided. Should you choose to purchase any of my favorite items, I could receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. You, of course, will receive my undying gratitude for your support of Midwesternjungle.com!
Pot Holders.
I haven’t a clue what brand these are or if they have a webpage. I purchased them at a nursery called Nature’s Corner in Ohio for $5-10 depending on the size. I have seen similar pot holders at Lowe’s, but the design is not as much to my liking. I enjoy the simplicity of these holders, and the fact that you can hang the loop above or below the pot. Hanging with the screws below the loop hides the pot almost completely, and the pot looks as if it’s floating on the wall.
Opalhouse Macrame.
I got these at target. I have a basic white one and a brown one. Although I’m not sure if they still carry these exact hangers, they usually have something very similar. I got them on clearance, actually. The original price was $13, but I paid less than half of that price. I noticed that target continued to carry them despite them being on clearance at one or more stores, so there’s a possibility that they’re still selling them.
Hand Hook.
I purchased these at Urbanoutfitters.com. At $10, I thought they were really affordable and I like how they match my terra-cotta pots. I don’t put much weight on them, just to be safe. I keep these for smaller hanging plants. I think they’re fun as an unexpected detail.
Mkono Macrame.
I buy these from the Mkono store on Amazon. I have purchased them in several varieties and I love them all. They have a great price point, which varies by style, and they’re made of durable cotton.

Primitive Planters.
These are my absolute favorite! I love the simplicity. There is not a tassel under the hanger, which I prefer. I also like how these are available in many different colors. They’re hard to come by, unfortunately. I purchase my neutral shades on Amazon, and for some of the brighter colors, I have to just cross my fingers and hope to find them in a local nursery. I first found some on clearance at English’s in Plymouth, MI. After I bought out their stock of this style, I moved on to Lucas Nursery, also in Plymouth, MI, where I was able to find a much larger selection with more colors.
This style is a little harder to find, but I’m linking to it below if you’re interested, as well as the other Primitive Planters style that I purchase in mass quantity.
